Kindle 2

I just ordered the Amazon Kindle 2! Actually my husband is getting it for me for my birthday. I am so excited. I even paid for one day shipping to get it here by my birthday.

Everyone that writes or blogs about it has liked it. I wish I knew someone around here who has one, but I don't.

It's Finally Here

I've been waiting for this all year! It runs between May 15 and August 15 during whick time you read three southern books, participate in contests, maybe win a prize, read about great southern literature and make new friends. What could be better?

Tea Time for the Traditionally Built by Alexander McCall Smith is a book I've been looking forward to this for awhile. I love this series.

I am listening to Power Play by Joseph Finder. It is great so far. An edge of your seat mystery, thriller.

I'm also listening to Belle Weather: Mostly Sunny With a Chance of Scattered Hissy Fits by Celia Rivenbark. VERY funny.
